"Working in the Library" I"Working in the Library" I flew up to the Rochester, the bad hairdo mecca, to see Arielle this past Friday. Nice weekend together, actually got work done on Monday and Tuesday, working in the library. Plan was to fly home early Wednesday morning. jetBlue, nice people, nice planes. Pretty early, leaving at 5.30am for the airport. Arielle drives her car up an embankment and we're stuck in the mud for 20 minutes. Miss my flight. Great. Rebook a ticket. $70. Working in the library once again.

Well we went around lookingWell we went around looking for kittens a couple days ago and met this guy, but we decided to wait. And today Anya and I trekked out to Port Washington, L.I. to the North Shore Animal League and found our new roommate (Untitled 2002).

Last night I took aLast night I took a capoeira class with Skunk and Paul. I have to admit that I've never really thought capoeira looks that cool, but actually doing it was a pretty good time... apart from the fact that I can't walk from the blisters on my feet.

Merav was in town forMerav was in town for a couple weeks from Israel and being Merav she had a little going away party this past Sunday. A "dessert" party. Someone had the bright idea to make gingerbread celebrities. Here's Arielle with a selection - that's Elvis and ummmm Sean Connery on the left and, oh let's see, Florida and Louisiana in the back. Anya and Sam even made it possible for Madonna to meet Elvis.

Hey, thought I'd make sureHey, thought I'd make sure you people were alive out there. Been on the super busy tip lately doing work for our first client. Can you believe that? We've been going for 2+ years and we just got our first client. Amazing. Anyway, been working and visiting arielle in rochester and up in toronto to meet with this so-called client. And playing drums with this guy which is taking time away from playing with fire and making me feel the need to play with more fire again and not sure where that's going to take me. I did see a decent movie last night, Das Experiment, based on the Stanford Prison Experiment. High intensity flick that tends toward absurdity towards the end but juicy nonetheless (regardless of the headache I had after sitting through it).
