I got back from PittsburghI got back from Pittsburgh this morning. Each time I go back to pgh i come back with a better appreciation for quality in small doses. One of the problems with New York is that there's too much to do, you can't tell the signal from the noise. In pgh, there's a small but consistent stream of cool things going on and nice to places to hang out. One thing I didn't get to do this weekend but wanted to was check out the James Turrell opening at the Mattress Factory. But, being a museum at a slower pace the exhibit will be there for a *year* so I have plenty of time to check it. So, check out pgh if you can - the steel mills are only half the fun.
