Gah, the Circus B4 party

Gah, the Circus B4 party got busted even before it started this weekend. I worked all day at the Madagascar Institute only to find out that all of the fun toys we were working on had no destination. "Next time" as my mum would say. Merav and I went out to see Cirque Du Soleil's Drallion on Friday which was sicktastic - lots of Asians doing impossible things with their bodies mixed in with a melting pot of international music and costumes and dancing. I highly recommend it to everyone.

This was posted on slashdot today, but I wanted to post it anyhow. It's a collection of photography by a Russian named Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii which is particlarly interesting because he was using some sort of primitive RGB composite technique about forty years ahead of his time - creating some eery technicolor-looking images of Russia at the dawn of the 20th century.

Oooh Oooh and I got a new bicycle on Saturday at Albert's bike shop in New Jersey. I rode back into NYC - needless to say my crotch is not a happy place right now. The bike? Oh its a beaut alright.
